Bipasha Basu now becomes a name synonymous with Bengali dessert

One of the most important things that Bengali culture is known for is for its variety of sweets. From Rasgulla to Sandesh, a Bengali meal is incomplete without its widespread collection of desserts. Bipasha Basu, a proud Bengali, too has time and again confessed her weakness for sweets and now, a restaurant has approached her with a unique proposal of sorts.

The restaurant apparently has expressed its desire to create a special dish, a mix of the famous dairy sweets Rasgulla and Mishti Doi and name it after Bipasha Basu. The reason is that the actress has stated that she is a fan of Bengali sweets and the restaurant has decided to create this special item only for her. Apparently, the said outlet is located on Park Street in Kolkata. However, the other details of the proposal are still under wraps and an official announcement is awaited.

Last seen in the horror film Alone, Bollywood’s scream queen Bipasha Basu tied the knot this year with beau Karan Singh Grover in a big fat Indian wedding style in South Mumbai in April this year.
