After winning hearts across the globe, the world famous ‘Madame Tussauds Wax Museum’ is now all set to make its presence felt in India, Delhi to be more specific. The 23rd edition of state of the art Madame Tussauds wax museum will be located in Regal Cinema at Connaught Place.
The said museum will have around 50 wax figures of national and international celebrities from varied fields like history, sports, music, film, and television. These celebrities include the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar from the national front. Besides them, there will be famous international figures like Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga.
Speaking about the occasion, Anshul Jain (General Manager and Director- Merlin Entertainments India Private Limited) said that they were more than delighted to inform that they were in the final phase of launching Madame Tussauds in Delhi. He added that they would also have a broader focus on the Indian celebrities. On the other hand, Marcel Kloos (Director- New Openings Europe and Emerging Markets) said that it was a thrilling experience to bring the legends of Madame Tussauds to the culturally rich land of India.
Buzz is that Madame Tussauds wax museum has more than 20 international and local artists who have lent their expertise and the cost of each statue is said to be approximately Rs 1.5 crore.
