Though it was ‘In My City’ that placed this Bollywood actress on the global map once again, Priyanka Chopra soon bagged her first TV series under ABC productions, ‘Quantico’. The terrorism thriller is currently in its second season but there has been a change in the airing details of the show.
‘Quantico’ occupied the prime time, late evening slot on Sunday at 10 PM and it has now been shifted to the same time slot but on Monday. The said thriller will replace another show ‘Conviction’ which is nearing its season finale. Confirming the same, the Twitter handle of Quantico Writers Room announced it saying, “We will see your faces on Monday nights at 10pm starting January 23rd. New night. More intense than ever. #quantico.”
Though nothing has been clarified by the makers or the cast on the reason behind this, we hear that this sudden change is due to the drop in the ratings of the show. While the first season was an instant hit with Priyanka walking away with accolades for her role as Alex Parrish, the second season failed to retain the curiousity element according to recent reports.
As of now, Priyanka Chopra who has been making appearances at several international chat shows, is gearing up for her big Hollywood debut with Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and Zac Efron in Baywatch.
