Choreographer turned filmmaker Remo D’Souza, after attempting the superhero genre, is now all set to bring back his dancer students to Bollywood. While we aren’t talking about the third installment of the dance film ABCD, Remo is all set to co-produce a film with partner Mayur Barot titled Nawabzaade which will star some of his dancing stars from ABCD 2.
The film in question stars former contestants of the dance reality show Dance India Dance, that is, Punit Pathak, Raghav Juyal and Dharmesh Yelande. Remo was supposed to start his next with Ajay Devgn and Sooraj Pancholi but the schedule for the same has been pushed to next year because of which the filmmaker decided to focus on this one. Talking about it, Remo mentioned that this was the right script for the trio where they will showcase their acting skills along with their fabulous dance moves. He was also quick to add that he will be choreographing two songs for the film.
On the other hand, his partner, Mayur Barot too spoke about the latest developments in the film wherein he revealed that it will be extensively shot in Varanasi in some renowned locations like Nadeshwar Ghat. They are planning to wrap up the schedule by December 19 in Varanasi and will also have a short schedule in Mumbai where they will be shooting a couple of songs. He also added that they are looking for a March release for the film.
Remo D’Souza’s film with Ajay Devgn and Sooraj Pancholi is slated to go on floor by February or March next year.
