Kapil Sharma, whose show on Sony network has gained popularity, will now be a part of yet another deal with the channel. In fact, audiences can expect the comedian-actor’s next film Firang to have a television premiere with the same channel.
From what we hear, the telecast rights of Kapil Sharma’s forthcoming film Firang has been bought by Sony Entertainment network. The film, that stars Drishyam star Ishita Dutta, is also produced by Kapil Sharma. Though the details of the deal are strictly kept under wraps, it is being said that the popularity of the star and his association with the channel is said to be the reason behind it.
Directed by Kapil’s childhood friend and Punjabi filmmaker Rajiv Dhingra, Firang is a period comedy which will showcase the love story of a villager with a much sophisticated NRI.
